CHRISTOPHER WEEKES wrote and directed his debut feature BITTER & TWISTED at 24 years of age in Sydney, Australia.
His previous short film credits include THE CHANCE (1998), BEAUTIFUL LILLY (1999) and GEORGE LUCAS & I (2001).
As well as writing and directing from an early age, he has worked as a visual artist on many film, television, and commercial productions including THE BOY FROM OZ (2006), HI-5 (2005-2008), PRESERVATION (2004) and DYING BREED (2008).
BITTER & TWISTED marks Bridget's debut as a producer. She is also in development on her second feature film, funded by the Australian Film Commission.
As well as developing an independent production slate, she continues to freelance as a producer, production manager and documentary researcher. Most recently she production managed a feature for Cascade Films, working along side veteran producer, David Parker, followed by working with Melanie Coombs and academy award winner Adam Elliot, on the $8 million animated feature MARY & MAX.
After 7 years working for various International Sales outfits, Michael launched Odin's Eye Entertainment (OEE) in August 2006. OEE is a vertically integrated Production and International Sales Agency that specializes in working with both emerging and established filmmakers. OEE currently represents over 15 films, with Michael acting as an Executive Producer on the soon to be completed SHAPE and DOWN FOR LIFE in addition to several other upcoming titles.
With over 12 years in the Entertainment industry in general, prior to launching OEE, Michael was most recently was head of Post- Production for Arclight Films International working on over 40 films such as WOLF CREEK and LORD OF WAR.
SAM COLLINS has received widespread critica acclaim for his music clips for artists such as Kasey Chambers, Gerling, Silverchair and Eskimo Joe.
For his first feature film, Sam drew from his extensive documentary work, from which he has developed a unique ability to deal with the rapid paced demands of low budget filmmaking; affording him an amazing eye for detail whilst under pressure.
Brian Cachia started out as a drummer at the age of thirteen and soon realized his obsession with music. Throughout the Eighties and Nineties, as Metal and Progressive rock became popular, Brian was in his musical element performing in numerous bands simultaneously.
His feature film scoring debut was the Arch Angel Epic, GABRIEL, which was released around the world in 2007 by Sony Pictures.
His most recent score is for the Supernatural thriller SHAPE. His scores are often described as 'darkly passionate,' 'heavily emotive' and 'submersive', but Brian likes to just think of them as but another passage to help the journey of a willing audience.
As his debut feature, BITTER & TWISTED is an expansion on Simon’s extensive experience in short form drama and internationally award winning documentaries. His strong artistic background and high level of technical prowess has made ideal for this production. Working alongside mentor Film Editor Nick Meyers (THE BOYS, THE BANK, THREE DOLLARS).
Simon will be one of the first editors in Australia to complete a feature film on Final Cut Pro for a full 2k Digital Intermediate finish.
